So, I kinda can't decide between these two. I like the design of both. I like that CX-3 is slightly away from the ground (which is cool considering I live in a big city with gazillion of road bumps, potholes and whatnot
Also I often go to a mountain for a skiing time, so I guess crossover is more suitable for that as well.
On the other hand I like that Mazda 3 has slightly more space on the back seats which is good. I rarely have more than 2 or 3 people in the car, but anyways, CX-2 seems to be quite claustrophobic for passengers

I'm wondering tho: Which one is more suitable for adding a rooftop cargo carriers, I would like to add that since I need to carry ski equipment and stuff? Also which one you think is better performance wise? Any suggestion/comment is welcome!

CX-3 shares the same platform as a Mazda 2. They feel small when your inside.

They have dropped the AWD from the CX-3 range in my market.

Have you looked at a CX-30? Its the SUV version of the Mazda 3.

 

I suggest you consider a CX-30 or CX-5.
