Yep I’d expect that to be the factory connector for the factory tow wiring. Either splice your own in or buy the harness from a Ford dealer, or possibly a boneyard.

You can use the same filter that the CX9 with the 2.5L turbo takes. It's not common but much easier to find. Incidentally, it's the same deal with wiper blades.

Other than the long boot-up time, I feel the infotech system is perfectly fine. I do lean toward Carplay and Waze most often, but the Mazda Nav system works fine, especially with how it projects...
