Lightbulb New Section Coming for the new Mazda 2016 CX-3 SUV

Mazda unveiled their new 2016 CX-3 SUV for the LA Auto Show (it's not even 2015 yet!). However, what caught a lot of attention was how the new Mazda CX-3 at the Mazda2-based entry into the rapidly expanding world of subcompact crossovers. the CX-3 wears large 18-inch wheels that fill out the fender openings nicely. The wheelbase measures 101.2 inches, exactly the same as the 2016 Mazda 2’s. Other CX-3 dimensions are slightly bloated relative to the global Mazda 2, including its 168.3-inch length (8.5 inches longer) to its 69.5-inch width (2.8 inches wider) to its 61.0-inch height (1.9 taller). a high-resolution seven-inch touch-screen center display, a McLaren-aping three-pod gauge cluster, and one of the nicest infotainment control ***** this side of a BMW 7-series. It will have the option of the new SkyActiv-D diesel 1.5L engine… except in the US. under that fashionable sheetmetal sits Mazda's 2.0-litre Skyactiv four-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic. Unfortunately, in North America, it looks like we'll only get the automatic.
The headlamp layout positions the turn signals outside the main headlamp unit to create a narrow, sharp design suggesting eyes gazing forward. The tips of the signature wing extend into the headlamps with an integrated LED illumination line. This connects seamlessly with the lighting signature that surrounds the low beams, accentuating the model's taut expression.
This new 1.5L direct injection Diesel engine features a low compression ratio of 14:8:1. It offers less mechanical resistance due to the cooling water control valves and the water jacket spacers. To help improve upon the acceleration response and efficiency of the turbocharger, it has a water-cooled intercooler in the intake manifold and there is insulation technology that is used to reduce the amount of cooling lost that is usually associated with smaller engine sizes. Reaching up to 103 hp at 4000 rpm

The optional all-wheel-drive system on the CX-3 features some advances not seen on other models, such as a redesigned rear differential that is lighter and smaller than the one used on the CX-5.
Mazda says the CX-3 also features a “wheel slip warning detection system,” which it calls a “world first.” A spokesperson could not elaborate when asked about the technology, but said more details will be available before the CX-3 arrives in showrooms this summer.
The styling of the 2016 CX-3 features Mazda’s latest design motif, which is called “Kodo,” or “soul of motion.” The prominent trapezoidal grille, sculpted fenders and high waistline are all hallmarks of this design strategy.
The CX-3’s headlights feature LED elements and have a different look than on previous Mazdas. The company intends to translate this look to other models, such as the Mazda 6 sedan and CX-5 crossover, which are getting refreshed for the 2016 model year.

Was at the Dealership today, ordering some spot paint and checking for recalls. No recalls yet for air bag on my Mazda 6.
Saw this nice new 2016 CX-3 FWD vehicle in showroom, Took pics of vehicle and price sheet (Canada).
Available in AWD as well.
Not a fan of plastic around wheels, but without it, that area would rust, as it is a Mazda: https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...zda-6-a-31330/
Don't like the red interior accents. It's F'n Blue Exterior with black interior. Should've have been blue accents!
