Hey, guys. New member on here but longtime Hyundai-Forum former mod with 23,000+ posts. I need help on my new Mazda6.

Has anyone disassembled the console area to gain access to the cubby storage underneath the dash? Not sure what I’m up against. Goal: run a RJ11 phone jack thru the back via a drilled hole from my Valentine One unit to the remote display which I will mount underneath the top of the box. Attempting to do this to prevent the main detector from drawing any in want attention to itself as I am traveling across country to the East Coast.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, gents.
