Who else here owns one and what do you like or dislike about them?

Thanks

Not much to dislike. I think everyone could nitpick a car but overall I think the '18 Signature is a home run.

I like:
The look
Handling
Interior
Creature comforts

Nitpicking the car:
I'd like to have a coin holder
Phone holder (although it does have a wireless charging pad!)
Slightly larger center console
Wish the doors unlocked touching the handle rather than having to push the button.

For the money I don't think there's a better value available. CarPlay and Android Auto will be retrofitted soon (September?) at no charge by the dealers for those that have already bought and will be a standard feature soon on those getting ready to ship from the factory.

Here's a pic: I've already installed Tanabe Lowering springs and a few other items. Really happy with this car.

Nice looking car espnews. I like the look after it has been lowered. One thing I could also "Nitpick" is the location of the 12v power supply. I think it is too far away from the windshield. When I want to power my radar detector, the cord would have to be fairly long and could get in the way etc.

Thanks
My detector is battery operated so that didn't occur to me. I like where it is because it doesn't look sloppy or in the way but I can see the detector issue. Maybe tap into the overhead console or run a wire from the fuse box up the A pillar and the along the headliner close to where you mount it?

A good stereo shop could probably wire it up in about 30 minutes.

Just like mine! Beautiful!

I plan on getting a MirrorTap cord that connects to the rear view mirror to power my EscortiX radar detector (MirrorTap Radar Detector Power Cords - Mazda). I've used this power cord several times before with no problems.

Where is this please? If it's the rubber pad in front of the shift and beneath climate control, mine doesn't work.[img][/img][img][/img]

ESPNEWS...nicely done drop. I see you added the mud/splatter guards...nice! Did you have the car alignment done afterwards? how is tire wear so far? Thx! (no hijacking intended here of the OP!)

New owner of a Signature. Have the update android and the remote start. Am NOT happy with either of them. Took it back to dealer yesterday and of course everything WORKED. Had to go to court today and the google maps failed halfway there, the screen kept disappearing and then coming back to something else. I know that you have to relearn how to use these things but this is ridiculous. Now the engine is going into a powered down mode, they reset the computer and it worked for a little while. On the trip to the court house it failed and went into its power down mode again. They showed me exactly how to use the remote start and guess what... not 50 feet from the car it would not work. THIS is the biggest downside the new signature has. It has been a disappointment. Mazda service cannot figure out that this needs a update to the computer systems, working on it is the excuse given.
UPDATE: 11-10-18
Car has been reprogramed and is responding. It will take a little time to check on the gas mileage but the Infotainment system is working much better. There is still some room for improvement as the gas mileage isn't great, 16-20 mpg. but we do drive mostly around town. The remote start does work now BUT the car MUST be locked and you are limited to about 300 feet.
