Exclamation 2014 CX-9 Sentinel Module (auto lights/wipers module)

Hi guys,

My replacement "sentinel module" arrived yesterday and I was able to successfully install it however, there is a problem. Actually a few problems with the new part.

Background: The reason this part was replaced was due to an issue of "wipers will not turn off". After attempting a few corrective measures, I had Capital Mazda of Cary North Carolina diagnose the issue.

$180 later, Capital Mazda said it was the "sentinel module" that needed replacing (they called it the "auto light/wiper module") I asked Capital Mazda for the part number to be replaced and they provided the TK21-67-890 part number. That's the part number I ordered from MazdaSwag because Capital Mazda wanted an additional $700 to replace the part.

I think the part MazdaSwag provided is either defective or has the wrong sticker on it.

Replacement part:
--Intermittent wiper function does not work.
--Auto wiper function does not work
--Driving lights (running lights) do not work
--Headlight auto feature does not work

old part:
--Driving lights (running lights) DO work
--Headlight auto feature DOES work
--Front wipers will not turn off <-- reason for replacement.

Can you guys offer any advice?

Thanks!

Angry Programming Required

Turns out, this part requires "stealership" programming
Well here goes $100 bucks down the drain.
