Anyways I poured some water on the roof and around the side window it appears to be coming from the roof and not the window so there's a start... However this is where it gets very confusing because it's leaking from the roof somewhere, it's not leaving any telltale signs on the headliner that in my opinion would be better because it would be easier to pin point. This leak is trickling in an area where I can't easily see it regardless if I used isopropyl alcohol to sniff it out. There are metal panels overlapping eachother making it super difficult to see where its coming from I'm going to have to rip more of the back interior apart to figure this out. It's possible this leak is coming from either the roof rail or rear boot door strut support thats bolted to the car

We're supposed to get nothing but rain monday and Tuesday so here's my plan. I Have these cheap brown napkins from McDonald's that I am going to place in the suspected areas and if one of them is wet or more saturated than the other I know thats the general area where the leak is coming from.

Also is that pink thing an air bag!? If it is Would have been nice if mazda had put a warning on that panel!
Did you find out where the leaking is? I have the same problem now, from both sides and it is leaking somewhere from top deep inside

Did you two find the hole? I decided to put an end to the fogged windows, disassembled half the car. I took a picture of the part (link attached) where the water is coming up, next to the rear airbag. I suspect the antenna, or the trim on the roof. (how do you remove the antenna?) Give me ideas, or if anyone has found the cause. Mazda 6GG 2007 hatchback.

In my case, an invisible crack at the very edge under the roof molding. I also closed the seam up to 10-15cm below that molding. Sealed the biggest leak. (in addition, it leaks in all directions at almost all seams, it's Mazda, but very slowly)

I have an invisible line with a little rust under the roof molding. I bought two-component metal putty and glued it on. It's much better.

Thanks, I will remove the molding and look there. When you say its much better, do you mean you still get some water in your trunk space?
