Default Mazda CX-7 2006 Turbo and Rear Main seal.

Has anyone changed the turbo in their CX-7??? Do you need to reprogram or can you just swap it straight out??Also any info on how to change a rear main seal or stop the leak would be helpful.Located Sydney, Australia

Easiest option ( assuming diagnosis is correct ) is to remove the sub frame and drop the engine & transmission out the bottom as one unit.

Your turbo shouldn't need to be reprogrammed. Always
check with your local dealer. Good luck man

I'm also in Australia, in Brisbane more specifically, and I had the same problem. It's a very difficult job to do at home, I had to send it to Lemans mechanics to fix it, the service will cost $1400. Right now my car is there.
