I just purchased a new 2021 CX-5 GT Reserve in Machine Gray/Black, AWD and Turbo. I too rejected the dark blue as the two that were on the dealer lot showed lots of paint swirls, and these were brand new with much of the shipping protection still intact. I also rejected the Signature as the interior, especially with the black headliner and dark brown seats, looked just too somber. The only negative so far, which will resolve itself with more seat time, is that the infotainment in 2021 is much more complicated than 2020 and prior, and the touch screen has been abandoned by Mazda. But I love the car's looks and, as a Miata enthusiast, the vehicle's dynamics.
