False Oil Change Due message
Frankly - even on my 22 or 24 the oil change / maint reset are confounding - its useless for me as i would do it every 2500-3k from a pad i write it on - - I also re-read the manual at each interval - i suppose im stuck in prehistoric ways -Its got a stupid default and i switched to manual 3k milez - just hit reset to shut it up - but at 2400 miles it starts warning me - pisser tech

I keep one on most all vehicles I have owned since the mid 80's. But not all of them.
My Mazda note books for it started the very month of purchase and I have logged everything with few exceptions. like the stereo upgrade. LOL
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Sorry.. Updated my post to include that
If you followed your owners manual information on how to set the service information correctly...
Then because ....
A 2024 with your miles is still under WARRANTY. The BCB controls that area of the monitoring information and as such you should go to Mazda and not continue to attempt to re-set or clear the service settings. Doing so may damage your BCM and void an important part of your newer Mazda's system
Mazda will either show you how to do it. Find a problem with your BCM and it will be replaced under warranty. Or they may do an ECU "flash" to the most resent update program or the original ECU program.
