Default Missing cover after oil change on CX-5 2016

Noticed the following cover missing under the car after an oil change. Not sure if it was caused at or before the change. It doesn't look like it is the access to the oil filter.

Does anyone know what it covers and if it is essential to replace it? Thank you.

To access the AC compressor mounting hole for belt changing. It won't hurt to much not having it for a short while. But they are inexpensive and should be replaced.

By the looks of it and inside it has been off for some time.

I just happen to still have my covers off from doing a oil filter service and few other goodies.

I used to change my engine oil by myself on my old Audi, was looking to buy Mazda 2.2D and i knew you can change the oil by yourself. Mazda service charges 280€ for this .
