Default Affordable Mods

Since getting my CX-5 I’ve added a couple mods some useless some very useful to me.

trailer hitch
sd card with updates
husky mats
doorsill protectors
thule bike carrier
bottom grill inserts (to match the rest of the grille it just made the grille look the way it should instead of 2 holes)
I have searched to try and see threads about what anyone has done and nothing. Let me know what you done to your CX-5.
edit: just added dongle so I can connect wirelessly to CarPlay… Teernan wireless CarPlay adapter( highly recommend)

where do you live? I live in the North East and wonder if 5w-30 will work for me.

Added many carbon-fiber and carbon fiber look pieces.
Rear logo, door handles, front grille covers will be doing mirrors when spring arrives.
Also installed all weather mats and rear cargo protector, and hatch protector.
Rear seat back protectors on ordered.
New performance rotors and pads (and perhaps calipers) will be installed at the next required service interval.
A few under hood mods - K&N filter cannot be seen.

In the South, but as long as it doesn't routinely get below -20F where you are, 5W-30 will work great for you. The engine is significantly quieter with 5W-30 than it is with 0W-20.

Oh yeah, also added LED turn signals front and rear, LED taillight assemblies, and sound insulation in the rear cargo area (added when changing the taillight assemblies).

Your engine compartment already looks custom?
Hmmm I can see a part I need to post in the thread what should have been included with my Mazda. My hood never came with an insulator. I can tell you with it it makes a notable difference in decreasing the engine noise.
