Greetings from a newby, and a long-time Mazda owner. I've previously owned an '89 RX-7, '92 Protege, and an '05 Mazda 6. The Mazda 6 belonged to my daughter, and she upgraded to a certified pre-owned 2017 CX-5. She has only owned it for a month, but I noticed that it appears she is missing some lights on her high-mount brake lights. There are 9 lights, but it's off-center, and appears there could be 3 that aren't working. I'm not sure how many are supposed to light. I'm guessing that this is an LED bar, that has to be replaced as an entire unit.

Do these commonly go bad, and should there be 12 lights?
