Hey guys! I just got a new 2018 Mazda CX-5 GT. I noticed that when driving during the day, the headlights are turned on. I thought it was only the LED lights around it are turned on during the day (daytime running lights), but i noticed that it is always on when on DRIVE. I have my light settings to AUTO.

Is there a setting for it that it will only turn on the lights surrounding the headlights?

 

Might there be anything blocking your light sensor so that it assumes it is dark and turns on the lights all the time?
