Both the HID and highbeam on the driver side is out, and it seems unlikely both would happen to be out at the same time. I’ve checked the fuse and the relay, both are good.

Any thoughts as to what could cause this? I guess there’s a slight possibility it is a coincidence that both are out at the same time.

 

If fuse and relay are okay, then it's wiring or bad lights.
To check/test either you need to basically remove most of the front-end plastic to reach the cable plug end and/or the lights.
