Default 2016 CX-5 Headlamps

Any suggestions as to how stock (H1) headlamps can be enhanced? A friend suggested modifying H11 bulbs. However, I'm concerned about both warranty and temperature issues. Thoughts? Thanks!.

I have a 2013 with halogen lights. First thing I did was adjust them up slightly as the factory has them pointing down to compensate for where they will be when the car is fully loaded in the rear. Then I switched to Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs for both high and low beams and the difference was noticeable. Not HID quality, but good enough for me with the limited amount of night driving I do.
