A Trabant? I remember seeing those in East Germany. My wife and I actually went to the Trabant Museum in Berlin back in 2023. Those cars probably did not even have a radio or a 12v power socket. LOL!!

Sorry not sure how a Trabant got in the conversation?
If this was your guess what AC was... then no. But interesting to say the least?

Interesting read:

AC Cobra came from a British company Auto Carriers Ltd.

Here is one of the very first AC's. Look closely at the front iconic emblem.
Year 1914

The Trabant reference came from your ad for the Sound Racer that plays V8 sounds through your car's stereo system.

Interesting history about the A.C. name. I assumed it may have just been somebody's initials who was an early race car driver.

lol I did actaully read that ad I just knew the product because I got one as a joke one X-mas. rolmao. No in my Mazda with the stereo system I have it Frikken wild sounding. LOL

As for AC you would not be the first that thought that as well. I do get a kick out of people when they ask looking at my Mazda and see the AC what automaker is that and I reply Auto carrier, and some say "oh ya I have herd of them"..... NOT ! lol

There used to be a type of big rig tractor called "Autocar" - often called an 'AC' on the CB radio, but they must have gone out of business way back in the 1980s. I have not seen one since I was in my youth. I guess they went on to the great highway in the sky with Marmon, White and Sterling.

FWIW, the Trabant I mentioned earlier made the Yugo GV seem like a luxury car in comparison.
