I have a 2018 CX-5 touring with the tech package, I want to fit a dash cam and I have a power harness rigged to take 12V off of the power to the automatic mirror 10pin in the housing for the i-active sensors on the windshield down to 5v nominal for USB-C as a pass through. I want to reduce the bulk of the mount for the camera by getting rid of the suction cup mounting and doing it as a screw through mount on the plastic clamshell that protects the back of the i-active sensors for lane keeping assist and automatic braking on the windshield (and also hides the interconnect for the 10pin that powers the automatic dimming rear-view mirror). I don't want to mess with the clamshell housing till I have a replacement but I can't figure out how to order a backup. It does not show as a part on interior trim and I can't think what else to search on. Anyone know the part number or the right term to search on?
