Default New guy in MA

Hey all,
Just finished my first week with our new (to us) 2021 CX-9 Touring in Crystal Red with Premium Pkg. Big time 'car guy' and I've been reading Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Road & Track for probably 30 years. I fell in love with the CX-5 when they released it, and read SO many articles about how it won almost every 'car shootout' they've written about. I've convinced 2 family members, and a couple co-workers to go with Mazda as I've always felt they've struck the best balance between staying affordable, being a 'drivers' vehicle, and being a well made product. None of those people have ever said they regretted it

Finally got my chance to grab one, when our '11 Infiniti M37x Deluxe Touring was starting to nickel and dime me to death. Absolutely love it so far. My biggest negatives are still using wire Car Play / Android Auto (easily takes care of by an Ottocast, already ordered), and lack of seat memory, either being tied to keys, or just buttons on the door. That last one I could just be spoiled by our German cars which sort of lead the way. A HUD would be baller too, but I honestly can live without it as my DD doesn't have one. My last two Audi's did, tho. I didn't see if it was available on the GT and above trims, as I had a budget in mind, and this will be primarily used for bad weather (I'm in New England) and taking the mutt to the dog show (which is why I got the CX-9 vs CX-5, see pic)

Gus, the brindle is our show dog, he's only 11 mos. and probably around ~110lbs. He'll probably hit 130-140 lbs fully grown. The fawn is our girl, Grace, who's 6.5 and 110 lbs, and wasn't thrilled about getting lifted up into a brand new car.
