Default Mazda 6 tourer - remapping SKYACTIV-G 143BHP engine

Hi, Apologies if this has been asked before - I'm in the market for a 2015-2016 mazda 6 tourer and actually prefer the 17" alloys and cloth interior over the 19" and leather found on the sport nav model. I've read the engine can be a bit lacking at 143bhp, can it be remapped to match the 163bhp found on the sport nav model? Are there other differences in the transmission that would make this an unwise thing to do?
Thanks for your responses.

Welocme to the forum. I would suggest you test drive the MAZDA your are interested in.
People simply give to much concern for the engine power numbers witout understanding where the power level is registered. And MAZDA is the worst for not participating in SAE verifiable power output of their engines.
20HP is not enough to really be concerned about! Most humans can't feel 10HP increases in their engine. Confucius say... Noise of a revving engines has a profonde phycological effect that creates the illusion of more power. lol

Hi, thanks for the welcome and your reply.
I agree, 95% of the time it would not be noticeable, but I think maybe when the car is fully loaded for a camping trip or holiday it would make a difference. I am planning a test drive when I find a car that is local but it is hard to test the car to its full capabilities on a test drive. Probably I would be happy for sure with the standard engine, but it would be nice to know that more power is accessible through a remap if I thought I needed it.
