What’s up everybody I’m new and have a question hopefully y’all can help me with. I have a 2012 Mazda 6i with the 6 speed manual transmission, my clutch just went out a while back with no signs or anything, within a matter of 3-4 days the clutch went from feeing good to super spongy, than eventually just didn’t go into any gears and after that wouldn’t turn on anymore. I bought the clutch and flywheel, only for the mechanic to call me and tel me that the transmission case/bell housing was all chewed up and not useable at all. I’m having SO MUCH TROUBLE finding a damn transmission! So my question is, is there any other models of the Mazda that use the same housing? The internals don’t need to match up he said he just needs another bell housing that will match up to my car. Please tell me there’s at least one other model that would work on it, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack and I’m very short on time & money
