Hello. Less than a year ago I purchased a 2016 Mazda 6 with around 40k miles on it. It was great in the first six months but then it started displaying an error message saying “Smart Brake System Malfunction.” The message does go away as I drive however it continues to pop up. It mostly appears shortly after I start the car. I’m not exactly sure what to do, especially since it doesn’t seem to affect how the brakes operate in any way and the scbs/sbs does not engage randomly like I have seen other people say. The cruise control light turns on (yellow light) as well as the brake system light when the error message appears. Please help
