Hello, i ve recently bought a 2007 mazda 6 break, and i had a few issues, one of them was with the lock/unlock system, the door's manual locks switch to lock and then unlock in the same second, after trying to lock the car with the fob key, i can t lock all the door with the inside drivers lock either, the same thing, so i ve been locking each door manually, and the drivers door manually with the key from outside, when trying to unlock the car, all the doors unlock with the key fob even if a press the lock button, and the drivers door only unlocks manually with the key, although the only door that actually locks is the trunk, only if i push the lock towards the car because the latch got a problem and doesnt move to what position it should have. The last owner said that it had the problem where the trunk latch doesnt lock sometimes, but the car was fully locked when i arrived, the second i got home with the car it didnt work no more
I will go to an electrician soon, but first wanted to get more information about this problem if anyone got any ideas on how to fix it, thank you!

 

have you changed the battery in the key fob.

 

I did not because the red light on the key is working when i press buttons, could the battery be the cause to all?

 

if the red light is lit it should be ok, maybe it needs reprograming to the car.
