My girl friend has a 2016 cx-5 and the battery died over night when I jump-started it the next morning and the yellow electronic parking brake warning light and tpms lights both are on . The parking brake works fine fluid is good and pads are good any ideas what it could be before we take it to the dealership?

 

When you say the parking brake works fine, does that mean it fully engages and disengages, and how have you determined that? Might the parking brake not be fully disengaging?

Does the owner's manual have any information about whether jump starting the car could have any impacts? Perhaps just driving the car for a while will do a reboot and the lights will go off.

Some error conditions/indicators do get reset upon the first drive after a dead battery. Hopefully this is one of them.
