Have a 2014 mazda 6 touring. In two weeks getting a 2015 mazda 6 touring. Wondering if they have fixed the ipod/usb/error problem? My old iPhone that I used as ipod worked for a few months. Then one day it wouldn't load. Used my ipod and it worked. Put some free music downloaded off a free site and wouldn't work. Have to use auxiliary.

The other issue was center console sliding forward when braking. Is this problem fixed?

 

my 2015 mazda 6 GS with luxury package (minus 19 inch rims, bose system and adaptive zenons) does not have the console sliding forward issue. my console seems very sturdy and will only move if you physically slide it forward. as for the ipod, im not sure because i havent tried it, i would recommend just downloading all your tunes onto a USB, this is the quickest and easiest way and you can still access your music from the infotainment system. the music quality is higher too
