[align=left]Hello all Mazda owners: I recently bought a 2006 Mazda 6s Pretty much loaded. Love the car but was wondering about something. My neighbor noticed that there was no indication of the make or model of the car on the outside except the emblem on trunk and grill. Is this normal or is it a 6s thing. I have seen other Mazdas on the road and noticed the mazda 3 and 5 on the back

Sounds like someone might have removed some of the emblems. There should be a Mazda6 on the LH rear of the trunk as well.

 

Thanks sstlaure: I thought it seemed a little strange. Never saw a car that did not want to advertise a little. Well I guess I can consider it a little personal touch to my 6.

 

It should alsosay V6 to the right of the Mazda6 emblem.

 

Or on the front doors.

The front doors? I don't think mine says anything on the front doors.

So, at least with my '06 6s, the only badges are the emblems on the front grill and truck, then the Mazda6 on the hood on the left and the v6 on the right.

 

V6 is not on the front door. Those on front door are before 2006 model. The front and rear lights are also different. The front lights on 03-05 are not so bright than 06-08 model. My Mazda 6S 06 is much better than my old mazda 6i, 04. Enjoy your mazda 6s.

How so? Explain please.

 

My 04 mazda 6i does not have abs, side airbags and traction control. 04 has only 4 sp but 06 has 6 sp. My 04 mazda 6i has so many stall issues. My 06 did happened once and dealer fixed it. The major reason I bought Madza again because of safety. My mazda was hit by bmw. The mazda has an excellent crash test than any accord or camry.
