I have an '05 mazda tribute. automatic.

two quick questions.. when the car's parked, you can rock the car back and forth about 6 inches, is that normal to have that much play in the tranny in the park position?

I also accidently stained the black leather upholstery with a cleaner thataccidently leaked. It bleached out a 3" by 3" section of the black leather. What's the best way to re-dye this.. a leather colorant? Is there an official name to the black leather with the lt silver met. exterior?

The parking pawl in the trans would control that. it is just a mechanical part that seldom wears out. I wouldnt worry about it.
