Hey guys, I did all the following but of course I dropped the screw and the piece it fits in in the engine compartment. Can't see it when I use a flashlight. Any suggestions?

Those are from before the site was updated, that and the fact they are over 2 years old and were attached to the post and not linked to from another site.
But the Air Filter is located on the drivers side, in the area that is under the air intake for the battery.
I would take a picture but a shot of my Mustang engine bay would not help.

Hey I'm having the same problem. I'm replacing the stock filter for a new K&N (Round not flat) air filter. I'm trying to see the pictures but I can't see them.

this is what I see instead of the picture...

yah i know my description is bad
Like was said, remove battery cover and plastic air-intake to battery and
you will see air filter housing, with four clips, underneath. This is a piece
of cake compared to changing the 2 piece cabin filter. You can google or
you tube it. It can be done, but it's a challenge.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but...

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 1.6 Petrol Automatic.

My dealer told me I should change the air-con filter but it seemed a bit expensive so I declined. But recently I started to smell sick in the car sometimes so I wish to change the filter myself.

I see I can buy a suitable air filter on
amazon amazon
for about 9 GBP:

I have been looking on youtube etc to find out how to change it, but the location of the air filter is confusing me. It seems to either be
, or under the
. Which is it? Or are there TWO air filters, a cabin filter (under glove box) and a regular air filter (under bonnet)?
