could be wired the wrong way or improper wiring. i noticed when i switched my 10"s to a different box they werent either. the wiring is a huge factor because if you dont get it right then you will get very low bass and the sub wont move properly. make sure you check that as well from the subwoofer itself to the wiring inside the box to the connectors. it will be the issue im sure of it

With the stereo system in these Mazda's, you hardly need amps and subwoofers. Subwoofers = stupid and inattentive drivers = Accidents. IMHO.
