2004 Mazda3 stereo
I bought a 2004 Mazda3 for my teen to drive and it's by no means perfect but the one thing that is stumping me is the CD Changer. I didn't check this before I purchased (I only had one CD) but when I try to load multiple CDs, it acts like it doesn't have a changer. It has a LOAD button and also a MP3 mark on the stereo (which I don't know it that works yet either). Is it possible that the car has this load button but not the changer? Even when I hid the up/down keys for the disk changes nothing happens. Did the dealer misrepresent the stereo too? Any advice would be appreciated.
They all have the LOAD button, my 2008 has one. Just because it says load doesn't mean its a CD changer. Sounds to me like it's like mine, it can play just 1 CD. The dealer probably played you if he told you it is a multiple CD changer. Sounds like it's a single disc player. He was probably just trying to sell the car. I would call and complain about him, misrepresentating a car and lying about what it has can result in him being fired.
Thanks for the feedback. I would love to say this was the only thing they didn't represent correctly. Live and learn....... Car seems to at least be sound mechanically, I guess it could be worse.
