Default 97 ES Wont Start, no fuel, no spark

I was reversing out of my buddies wedding reception hall and the car just stalled. It's a 5 speed. I tried to restart the car and it just cranks. It sounds right but its not firing up. We pulled a plug and grounded it and we're not getting spark. We can't smell fuel either. I would think you could from cranking it so much. We are gonna pull my back seat and get to the pump and see if we can power to it. We tried the jumper thing on the diags port but couldnt seem to hear anything, but the seat was still on so it may hide the sound. No clicking is coming from the relays either. Here's one more thing that could be important. While driving home one night, my resonator section of my exhaust fell off, ripping the 2nd O2 sensor clean off, so I taped the wires up so they werent dragging. Well I got my new resonator section but had to wait for my new sensor. So I went ahead and threw the new exhaust on and left the hole open. Now the wires were still taped up but could they have shorted something, like my ECU, from touching or getting wet? Realistically the 2nd o2 is useless but could this have caused a major problem? Or do I just have a fuel pump or distributor/ignition issue?

Hey man I'm having the same problems that you were having with yours and I've already checked/replaced several things to no avail. You said that your problem was caused by a fuse. Which fuse was it? If mine is caused by a fuse I'll be irritated that I've spent money replacing stuff to get it running but thrilled that it runs again!
