Default 91 Protege no spark at plugs, really confused.

Ok so I have a 91 Protege 1.8L DOHC thats turning over but getting no spark. The original problem was the main 80amp fuse would blow after the car got hot, so I replaced the ignition coil, and from there have replaced the spark plug wires, spark plugs (properly gaped), distributor rotor and cap, and still no spark. Im getting voltage all the way to the distributor cap. Is is the distributor? Dont those things not normally go? I just want to know if there is anything else cheap I can try before replacing that. Yes, it is possible that the distributor is shot. They are not cheap. See if you can get a used one that is known to be good.

May be this video is of help:

Is there anything else wired into the coil? Ive seen some model mazda that something nearby to the coil fries itself and then the coil.

I cant remember what it does or what it is, but I thought I would mention it.

What about trying to install a large ground wire from the engine block to the negative terminal of the battery to complete the circuit?
