What spark plugs are recommended for a 2003 Mazda Protege w/ 2.0 I4 engine?? I'm looking for good plugs, not some el cheapo crap.

Go with either a NGK or ND plug, stay away from brands like Bosch, Autolite, Champion, etc... I like what OEM calls for.

Thanks. I had planned on trying the NGK Iridium plugs but thought I'd ask before I bought them. I'd never owned a foreign vehicle before my wife came along.

I know to stay away from the Champion and Bosch brands, tried both of them in my truck and they made it run worse than the old Ford factory plugs I was replacing. I used the Autolite platinums in it, they seem to work fine.
