My son has a MX3, 1.6L. It has developed a strange problem. When first started in morning, cold start, it fires up and idles perfectly. After it warms to normal running temp. and is then turned off it will not re- start. We have changed the Head, Head gasket, Plugs &wires, alternator. If anyone has any idea what the cause might be I would really appreciate your advice.

 

Turns over and will not start or will not even turn over?

 

Will turn over fine but won't fire-up.

 

I would check the fuel pressure regulator first. Check for spark when it does not start to narrow it down.
