Default Miata A/C Question

Getting hot in Cincinnati--how hard is it to re-charge a Miata A/C system?

Thanks in advance.

Several difficulties that you may run into FlyingGreg. 1990 used R-12 refrigerent which is not even available anymore in North America. Is illegal to sell or purchase. Only quantities left is that in shop inventories and when that is gone it is all gone. You could convert over to R-134a which is available in recharge kits but you would still need to remove all of the air and moisture from the system with a vacuum pump once conversion kit was installed.
