Default Purolator Motorcraft Oil Filters

I do almost all of the maintence on my 2011 Cx9 and have noticed that the oil filters ie the Classic and the Motercraft have developed leaks after about 1000 miles. Don't have this problem with any other brand. Any comments? All filters are tightened hand tight.

You should always use OEM filters. They are no more expensive and Mazda will honor any warranty if they are installed. 10 - 11 Dollars ea. shipped to you door. 3 Pack for 28ish. Purolator can't be much less if any.
