Default Oil level sensor malfunction

I have a '20 CX-9with 19,600 miles, today while on a trip to connecticut, about 30 minutes into the ride the message "Oil level sensor malfunction" was displaying on the dashboard.
The oil was changed two weeks ago so i know i had a full crankcaseof oil. After i arrived in Connecticut i checked the oil level and it was full. On the return ride, the message did not show.
Any ideas?

There is nothing to go on at this point. You could check for stored DTC and the monitors state of readiness? But at this point just watch both the oil level and if the light returns.

Lets hope you don't have any a Gremlins in your Mazda.
