Default Engine question

Hey guys, new here! I just had a quick question here about the engine. I know that cx7 has the same engine as the speed 3&6. I was just wondering if it would be a direct swap using cx7 engine to speed 6 or speed 3?

Default From what I've seen.....

Their not entirely far off from each other as swapping. There will be a few things you'll have to swap back and forth. Especially if your going from the turbo to a non turbo car. The mounts are spaced a little different. Things like that. Engine bay size is basically the same. Driveshafts maybe, maybe... need swapping depending on the length and sapcing from body to steering knuckles. But I don't see it being to difficult to swap. My opinion would be to go to a used lot and ask to look at the car you wanna swap from or too. Sometimes the harnesses can be different also. The plug ends. Then you run into crazy headaches. Was a Honda tech for years and they made it almost impossible not to swap. They were so compatible from car to car for nearly 20 years. Other brands not so easy.... Newer cars at least. Goodluck. Try the parking side by side trick. Or snag some guy at a grocery store or whatever. Just tell him what you wanna do and if you can peak under the hood for similarities.
