I was wondering y my engine floods and idle alot... is it because it has a problem with the engine... my bro did some thinking and was wondering if my apex seal is broken... cause when the rotar spins and if theres a broken seal then doesnt it make the car harder to start it up, cause as it starts in the intake to the compression then the spark plugs wont b able to light because of the mixture... and then it keeps sparking and sparking.. as the engine gets filled up with the gas... well thats y i think... but not really sure.... any question answer back...

 

fuel injectors leak over time... 190k on my GSL-SE and 140k on another GSL-SE the injectors started leaking.
what model / year?

 

i'd say that an injector is getting stuck and that is why it is flooding. i would definitely say that this is true if it does it more so after you rev the motor a couple of times

ps. we had a sick RX7 in the shop today.
imported from japan, 1992 rx7 twin turbo, rhd... oh it was SO nice...
but it was off the charts with the emissions test...
