Hi! I have a 2010 cx7. I went to lock the car the other day using the key fob. I noticed the passenger side one wouldn't lock. I tried 5-6 times before it finally locked. Then when I went to unlock the doors, it was stuck locked for another 5-6 presses.

I tried from the inside too, and it's the same deal. My limited Google search is suggesting an actuator?

Also recently.ive noticed sometimes (Not always) I have to press the fob 3 or 4 times before it responds and locks/unlocks. Both fobs do the same. Would this be just batteries, or something else?

Would love to hear your thoughts and I'm thinking it's an.auto electrician job as opposed to a regular mechanic?
