So I got a check engine light on my 2020 CX5 yesterday. Hooked up the scanner and got the code P0452 for the fuel tank pressure sensor. I 've been trying to figure out where this sensor is located and if it's something I can replace. Searched all over google and YouTube and haven't really found anything on this code for my car. Any help would be appreciated

 

Clear the DTC using a Diagnostic scanning tool connected directly to your OBDII diagnostic connector. (NO BLUE TOOTH SCSANNER)
Get a can of seafoam or STP or even better Chevron F?I treatment. With a 1/4 tank or less use compete bottle and drive for at least 15-25 miles then you can fill the tank normally.
Check the oil ring seal carefully on the gas cap and make sure it is not dry, cracked or dirty.

If and only if you get a DTC returning indicating the P0452 for the fuel tank pressure sensor, then there is more intense work to get to it and if you are asking about where it is then this is not really a DIY job you want to attempt.
Depending on your miles this may even still be covered under Mazda warranty because it is directly emission related. But I am not by my ALLData system to check that?
