Question Over heating

I've got a 2023 Mazda CX-5 Carbon and I really like it. I let my sister use it the other day and she parked it at the pool in my neighborhood. I was away in another state and I got a warning on my phone saying I had a critical vehicle malfunction. I called her and she said the car was parked in the parking lot and it wasn't running. Apparently, the car was overheating. Now, I park my car at work for hours at a time and this has never happened to me. The only thing I can think of is that she left the car running. After a while she had to jump start the car and it started right up. But then the parking brake was on and it still had a few issues in regard to driving it away.
What are your thoughts in this matter.

You need to scan the ECU and get the DTC both pending and permanent . The you can post them.
Or go to Mazda service , or an independent service shop with ASE signage and have them perform a basic Diagnostic review. It is about an hour labor .

You really have very little information to get anything except a lot of guessing from anyone without more information primarily from your ECU.
