Head Gasket
Hi
I have a CX 5 2016 diesel. My mechanic thinks the Head Gasket is blown and perhaps engine stuffed after temp light came on. I have always had regular servicing and fixed any issues as they arose. This car cost $50,000 aud in 2016. I would expect it to last longer than 155,000kms. I have it booked in to see a Mazda dealer. What are my chances of this being rectified?.

You’re out of warranty, so it’s not likely Mazda will do much if anything. If you are going to the dealer you purchase the Mazda from they may do something but not required and it would like be more in a discount for parts and labor.
Mazda is not the only automaker that has forums we read members posting much like yours . Nothing is perfect, however I do feel for you and understand you grief.
