A thirty year old link is no proof of any filter quality. Choose a major brand that meets the specs and you will be fine.

Agreed! That and the fact it is Scamzoil promoting the study casts a HUGE amount of shade on the topic.

funny thing is when I was an amsoil dealer a long time ago I had an amsoil customer have his oil filter failed on him and almost caused him to wreck his motorcycle. The oil filter was mounted directly in front of the rear tire and the seal blew out on it coincidentally they had a recall on that oil filter.


​​​I don't trust all of amsoil claims ... I still use their oil in my bike. But I don't believe their stuff is the answer to everything automotive .....

Oh my, leaving the Amsoil fold is roughly akin to trying to become an ex-member of Church of Scientology.

I know what you mean. When I stopped being an amsoil dealer and I stopped using their products exclusively, I was almost afraid to leave the house. I was sure there was sniper sights on me at times......
