Yeah that's too much to ask for.

 

I would dispute any extra fees with your CC company if they insist on you paying. This product should not have been shipped to you in the first place.

I am now sorry to read your post too late. I just got a word from a CSR that their unit will not work with cars that don't have Carplay module and software update.
I ordered one last night, 09/13/21, based on their list of supported cars model and year. Mine is 2018 Miata RF GT.
I guess I have to pay for return shipping cost.
