I'm looking to buy a newish 2019 CX-5 GS AWD with comfort package in Canada. Vehicle has about 2500km, 6 months old one owner no accident history. I'm quite interested in purchasing but since it is my first car purchase, I wanted to do some extra research on the vehicle before committing. Are there any known issues with the 2019 CX-5 GS model? Any recalls or major or minor issues that I should be aware? Any problems with older models that could potentially affect the 2019 model. Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

Contact your local Mazda dealership to make sure there's no outstanding recalls or rework.

 

Great car, you cannot go wrong with it. Still, I am sounding like a broken record on this forum. Take it for a very long test drive and make sure that you feel comfortable within the driver's seat. Some customers, including myself, find the bolstering very hard and uncomfortable. That is the only negative thing I have to say about the CX-5.
