2020 CX5 Sport Transmission chirp between 3-4 gear

Update: over a thousand miles later and still no chirp has returned. Pretty pleased at the result of a simple fluid change. I will do that again in the spring when its warmer. I hate that the manufacturers use terms like "lifetime fluid" because there really is no such thing. Great forum here, I have learned a lot!

4/9/2026 Update
Vehicle is now at 103,224 and the issue seems resolved. I will do another fluid drop and fill in 30,000 miles and will continue with that service interval. I am pleased with the result and the daughter is enjoying her new to her ride. I am reading more about the CX-5 on a regular basis and I can see why it is a popular little SUV. It's fun to drive and easy to service. Anyway, I wanted to update on the transmission fluid change and my results.
