2021 Turbo Engine all models BULLETIN ISSUED OIL CONSUMPTION ISSUE
A bulletin has been issued for all 2021 Mazda Turbo Models, TSB # 01-012/21. Recalls have not been issued as of yet. Please contact Mazda Corporation to report LOW ENGINE OIL ALERT. My 2021 CX 30 Turbo had first status alert of low engine oil at 3100 mi and again at 6500 mi. I have 6700 mi on the car now and am concerned with the potential for damage to other engine systems aside from the reported issue with the gasket stem seals. Please report this issue (if relevant to your vehicle) to the US Department of Transportation Safety in order to increase volume of complaints lodged for oil loss to petition Mazda to recall this engine.

Please report it https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem
There was a TSB issued last october and it is becoming more frequent, if we keep reporting it - there will be an investigation and potentially a recall.

July 4th my oil light came on. Car had only 10,300 miles on it and was 1800 miles from it's next scheduled oil change.
Very frustrating. I am very easy on my automobiles and bought this car new so I would not have these types of issues.
What was equally frustrating was that the dealer attempted to blow me off by saying there were no problems. When I mentioned the tech bulletin, a light bulb went off. HMMM.
I have reported to NHTSA and will notify Mazda as well.

I recently took a trip to Colorado. My 2021 Signature has 16,000 miles on it. I used a quart on the way out, but that was after a full day driving through Kansas in a fierce headwind and near 100 degree temperatures. I added a quart, went the rest of the way to Colorado, traveled around and returned to Ohio with no further loss. I'll continue to monitor it, but in my case I don't think my car is a problem vehicle.
