There is a real detailed set of videos done buy a youtube uploader that did a swap in his 95 626 using a 95 mx6 transmission.

I know yours is a 99 and that may not be an option, but this should give a lot of detail in the series as he should talk about what was needed for it to work. I have watched other videos and he was very thorough.
