Default How to replace CX-5 2014 AC resistor

I located the resistor behind the glovebox but can't seem to get it out. From my replacement, it looks like it should turn slightly counterclockwise and pull out. I have not been able to find any details on line and I don't want to bust it. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Using my mind reading powers, you are replacing the MOS-FET, have a look at this diagram.
( METAL OXIDE SEMICONDUCTOR FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR )

Rotate the power MOS FET (2) while pressing the tab (1).

You are correct and this is exactly what I was looking for. I suspected it was counterclockwise but wanted to be sure as it's very difficult to turn. Thanks!
